Heart to Heart Mental Health Support Group
The purpose of the project is to provide outreach and therapeutic support to African Caribbean people suffering/recovering from mental health difficulties.
The mental, physical and social wellbeing of our service users are vital, in order that they can enjoy good social relations, can do things they enjoy, feel connected to the community and feel that they have control over their life and living conditions.
Our group meets every Wednesday from 10am – 4pm at Bethel Lighthouse Centre.

The project aims to adopt the ethos of collaboration, consultation and communication to enable and encourage African Carribean service users and their carers to actively participate in community initiatives, strategic planning thus creating a better service provision for themselves and their specific cultural needs.
The Mental Health Project provides an extensive programme of activities for members to get actively involved in, such as entertainment, cultural courses, art and craftwork, computer courses and day trips.
